My daughter was airlifted to the new Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham on Friday evening
after she had an accident on her motor scooter.
Her room on the 4th floor has full length windows
and you can see the helicopter arriving,
bringing another patient in need of the skill of the medical staff.
My daughter was scheduled for surgery today
to repair damage to her leg,
at 11.00pm they admitted it wasn't going to happen today
....and she got her first food of the day!
