Royal Train? by daffodill

Royal Train?

It is a tradition in our church, that on the last Sunday morning before Christmas, our morning service is led by our children and their leaders.
Here is Miles in his donkey costume (complete with removable tail)
playing on the dais, with a model train(looks like Percy) and one of the carriages. Next to him is the manger, and straw has been scattered generously around by exuberent children. The wooden section Miles is investigating, is the base where the removable Communion Rail is bolted. A few minutes later and he discovered that you could feed straw down the bolt holes! This was carefully removed using the Hoover, before the rails were refitted!
Here is Miles, looking as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, in one of those snaps that you have one moment to take....Pity about the top of his head,, but this photo sums up today for me.
In the evening it was Carols by Candlelight, but I was too busy to take any memorable photos.
What a precious little face! Wonderful capture, Rose! :0)
