Finally. Just 2 years after it arrived, the 3 metre length of worktop was fitted into position!
There were times, I confess, when i doubted that this day would come!
Here is the worktop, balanced on a set of low steps, and a toolbox,
moments before we had to turn the worksurface over, as my husband realised that it needed to be face up for the type of saw he was using!
The worktop has spent the last 2 year on its side in the porch.
Waiting for the day when it would be used.
Fortunately my husband had some pretty lights in the porch, to brighten his day, which I am sure made a great difference. NOT! :)
Outside the rain was very heavy, so unusually I didn't go out today.
