So the seeds get sown
and one generation
begets the next...
Some lines are not carried on directly, but still the mothering goes on,
as Auntie, cousin, friend, Godmother, stepmother.
We all influence the next generation.
Passing on experiences,
common history,
and philosophies for life.
A day to remember those who are no longer with us,
and those whose life was cut short,
possibly even before birth.
To remember,
and give thanks
and to look forward to future generations,
who in time will become the wise ones.
