Memory Flowers

In the front garden of the house my grandmother lived in for most of my childhood there was a beautiful display of bluebells and japanese anemones. Whenever I see anemones, I am reminded of my Gran and holidays in Devon.

My pink japanese Anemone has just opened. The trouble is it is nearly 5ft tall and hides the clematis, verbena and lobelia which are behind it! We are going to have to move it to a new location. I hope it continues to thrive wherever it ends up!
Lovely macro. The delicate shading on the petals is a nice contrast to the harsh yellow stamens.
