Have you ever come up with something entirely different than the shot you tried to get? I have been doing that a lot lately. This shot was supposed to have been a combination of the five weeks in May challenge (minimal) and the year two+ challenge of water reflection. I only had a few minutes to take my daily shots, so I went with this one. I find this shot to be interesting, but it was definitely not what I was going for. I find this shot symbolically fitting for this weekend. My husband took time off from work to help me decorate the family grave sites with flowers this weekend. It is a bittersweet time. We are taking day trips to go out of town and out of state to honor those who have passed on. It is a sad time, but this annual trek brings up lots of good memories. I am using this shot for my SOOC wild card for the five weeks in May challenge. (SOOC except for my watermark, which I put on my photos I post online.)

P.S. I welcome any suggestions on how to create water reflections. I can capture water reflections out in nature, but creating these seems to beyond me.

The shadow/reflection looks like a bird to me- This is great!

@jannkc Thanks! I saw the bird too, but did not know if the shadow would look like a bird to anyone else.
