I saw this garden idea at a public garden I visited today. A gardener had planted daisies in the center of red leaf lettuce plants. The effect was quite striking. This is an idea I would like to try next year in my own garden.

@maggiemae At this garden, the gardeners practice a lot of edicble gardening. I think this might be part of that concept (using vegetables as part of the flower garden).
@lleo Thanks! I use my camera to take pictures of gardening ideas I like. It really helps me if I have a visual image for later reference. The garden I went to is a great source of gardening ideas.
