My mother always said to look at the silver lining. She usually mentioned this when we saw a cloud with a bright outline to it. What my mother meant by this was to look at the positive side of things. I always think of my mother when I see clouds with "silver" linings.
My other thought this morning was that clouds like this mean that changes are coming in our weather. It has been hot and very humid for days. A cold front, with accompanying thunderstorms, will eventually break the hot weather. According to the long range weather forecast, the very hot and humid weather will be soon gone until next summer. It looks like the change to Autumn will be coming with the arrival of the cold front. Looking at the silver lining, I welcome the thought of cooler weather.
@milaniet Thank you. We had no rain yesterday. We had more clouds today and a sprinkle or two of rain. The heat wave broke today and for that I am glad.
