I was photographing the flowers in my garden, when I was photobombed by this special creature. I have been trying to capture pictures of butterflies and they have evaded me most of the time. Today, I am shooting pictures of marigolds and the butterfly comes to me!
Yesterday, I started thinking about how some subjects look better in color than in black and white. Today, I took pictures of flowers at a greenhouse's Autumn festival. When I came home, I found out that none of my pictures looked good in black and white. This was quite a revelation to me. Later on in the day, I took pictures in my own garden to get today's shots. At least, a few of these looked good in both color and black & white.
Great shot of a Skipper! fav
Yes, I agree with you there are some shots the look better in color and then there are some that you can put in black and white. This one probably works in both. The best way to learn what to use when is to practice and experiment as you've been doing.
