Blue Jay by daisymiller

Blue Jay

The Blue Jays often approach the bird feeder by first landing on the shepherd hook. Then, they fly down to the bird feeder, which hangs from the shepherd hook.
Our blue jays have the same approach - better chance of catching him on the hook than on the feeder - they're grab and run there. Lovely detail on really nice background. Fav
