Winter Backyard

We had a snowstorm that transformed the backyard. The dead stalks of the perennial hibiscus received a topping of white snow.
Beautiful !

It softens the harsher edges of this poor skeleton plant!

The snow laying in the dried pods reminds me of cotton bolls! I love the contrast of light and dark and, also, the dof. Well seen and beautifully captured, Daisy!

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my tufts of snow on the magnolia and for the follow. Both are very much appreciated! :-),

It's fascinating how a coating of snow can make dead flowers look so pretty. Good shot.

Looks so desolate. Beautiful shot, though.
