Fresh Mint by daisymiller

Fresh Mint

I have a mint plant growing on my kitchen window sill. It is a bit leggy, because it does not get a lot of sunlight on the north side of the house. However, I like seeing and smelling the mint when I pass by that window. Last week I tried monochrome and high key during the first week of the Flash of Red BW challenge. This week, I am going to attempt light and/or texture during the second week of this challenge.
Very nice shot.

Looks very nice in b&w - like all the veins on those leaves. Love the way mint smells.

This is really pretty- it reminds me of those paintings we used make by squeezing paint through a screen. Good shot Daisy! And the aroma of the mint sounds so nice.
