The sparrows have been hiding from the Cooper's Hawk. One of our neighbors pulled off the garden plants and piled them up behind the shed. The birds hide in this pile. This sparrow was stretching back and forth when I snapped his picture. I wish this had turned out better in BW. The bird was brown and the garden debris was brown. I found that this does not make for a good BW.
