I'm finally happy with the composition - no awkward gap at the botttom left and the arc reaches gently into the top third of the frame. Although I did follow my friend Barney's excellent suggestion of using a polarizer to enhance the saturation in the brickwork, I decided that my favourite subject should get my favourite picture style treatment, so I went for a black and white. Perhaps one final cog, in colour, next month.
