This dandelion was sitting up all alone in the grass next to the wooden fence from yesterday's photo. I am a sucker for dandelions and if I have a camera in hand I have to photograph them. For a weed, they certainly are beautiful. I love the way this photo made it look like the spores were cascading out from the centre.
nice, I had capture one from yesterday as well when my friend and I went to a Winery vineyard for sight seeing!! I have taken few of dandelions already but have not post one :) I should try one of these days!!!

I would love to tell you that the blue background is the sky ....... but I cannot. It is in fact a road. The wooden gate was on a slight incline up from the road. I lay down on my tummy looking back down the incline towards the road in order to photograph the dandelion. Made for a nice background though !! Amazing what a slight lightening of shadows can do !!

A bit happier yep. This one was probably about 3cm across !!
Still no lady bugs though !! Will have to wait for Spring.
