Thankful today for a semi-day of rest, after all the hustle-bustle! I forget how much work this day can be. Today we had a small group as our youngest son went to TX to be with his girlfriend's family. But, oldest son and girlfriend were here, along with my parents. Thankful to have them another year. My siblings are far flung today, from N. Fla. to Phoenix.
I only was able to catch a few shots before dinner was served. The lady Pilgrim here is a salt shaker. Many years ago, our local grocery store, Publix, aired a commercial with two Pilgrims, one male, one female. They were salt and pepper shakers. The ad was so enormously popular, they had to manufacture these little people. Unbelievable that they eventually discontinued the ad. We love our little Pilgrims! I had taken a few with the male, too, but my family didn't have much patience with dinner on the table.
@ariel817 Thank you, Linda. I used to love our larger gatherings, but they are not to be! We have collected more Christmas s/p shakers and they even stay out all year.
