I have often wonder what Lake Pontchartrain looked like after they dumped all that nasty stuff into it after Katrina.

@skipt07 I guess I hadn't heard that. Went to a good tour of the lighthouse and they are cleaning up the lake. Didn't look bad at all. Not sure about the fishing.

@danette - Yes they pumped all the filthy water still behind the levies that didn't break in to Lake Pontchartrain to get rid of it. http://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1306/pdf/c1306_ch7_g.pdf
