About twice a year, our church has a service day called "Serve the City". We have well over 1000 volunteers each time at numerous sites throughout one or two counties doing projects. I have been to this retirement home twice. We throw a party, serve them grilled hotdogs, etc and have a dance party. They love it. This lady actually brought tears to my eyes.
