What's a group of alligators called?

A: A congregation! Spotted these on the bank of a canal in the Everglades. While I felt safe from THEM, I didn't know what other ones would be lurking on my side of the canal.
I never new that and, wow, what a great capture.

Great capture. It does not look like a place I would want to stay for too long.

That is a lot of alligators - congregation is an appropriate word. Yes, a bit nerve wracking not knowing what others lurked nearby.

We came into FLL from our cruise and almost took a tour where we were suppose to see large alligators. Unfortunately, the airline took my seat away so my husband was more concerned about making sure I got on the flight so we skipped the tour...maybe next time. Yes, they overbooked but no idea why they took my assigned seat away. LOL
