I love that My City invested in these solar traffic lights when the last hurricane hit. It makes driving through town so much easier. There are so many trees down, it is a mess! Already My City is sending me emails trying to clean up. Public Works was out immediately after the all clear was sounded.
Glad things are moving forward! My cousin in Naples is a doctor... he lives about 13 miles from the hospital... has gas left for about 50 miles. So thankful you are OK.
By the time Irma dragged herself up the peninsula she was pretty worn out when she reached the panhandle. Our daughter got lots of rain and wind but most importantly she and the kids are fine.
A friend who lives in Aventura was kept safe and as a matter of fact she has to work tonight. Another friend lives in Ft. Meyers said there was a lot of wind damage but he and his house were spared.
@skipt07 At the same time, the ugly side of the storm was flooding Jacksonville, Savannah and Charleston. Irma didn't show much mercy. Glad everyone is safe and sound!
@danette Their home was spared... water in the garage and storage area and landscaping destroyed... no power for now... they have a strong faith and rely on that to pull them through. Good news about the tankers!!! Thanks for asking.
