Under construction

Pompano Beach has been a sleepy little town until recently. The City is pouring money into redevelopment. The pier was damaged in a hurricane and they are rebuilding. Many new (expensive) condos are being built.

When I lived in Fl in the 70's, you could drive down A1a and see the ocean.

Great city shot. Condos are going up all over Dallas too and there sure aren’t ocean views to support the sky high views they are charging.

@joansmor yes, much has changed. You can still see it in places. When I briefly lived in Miami, S. Beach was a blighted area.
