This photo was an attempt to illustrate the scale of the landscape we were trekking in Nepal. This is our campsite at the base of Cho La Pass. The next morning we climbed up to the pass (5420m) between the two peaks. I was able to capture one of our amazing porters in the shot, carrying three bags and a tent! I think this shot is best appreciated by zooming in (thank you Sony).
@peterdegraaff Thanks Peter. The scenery there is impressive and just after you think you've seen enough mountians, you'll come around another corner, emerge from another valley, or come to another crest and be awe struck once again.
@hobgoblinwychwo Thanks John. @tracywilliams Thank you Tracy. So far, only Europe, New Zealand and Nepal. The photos from Europe aren't fantastic - mainly memento type. Also I have seen a fair amount of Australia. A lot of those travel are pre-digital, and I am starting to scan in some of those prints to preserve them. Also trying to get another copy of my shots from a trip to Tasmania - crashed hard drive :(. Lots more that I still want to travel to though.
