More bed time thinking last night about today's photograph and although nothing came to mind straight away, this morning, a new dawn, a new day, and i was feeling good.
Sunny side up came to mind and just seemed to naturally progress to this shot. I've had some heart-shaped cookie cutters in the kitchen drawer for a while now, which have never been used. Carefully placed in the frying pan with a cracked egg and a couple of googlies, voila! Was happy to have a bit of egg white covering the bottom of the yolk as it appears to be peeking through the 'clouds'.

Love it! I used an egg for my sunshine shot and it was fiendishly difficult to cut into shape, I should have used a cutter! So glad you made the pp, that photo was fabulous!
Late in the day and the sun has now gone down and I've only just come across this shot. This is great, you'll have to take photos themed like this every day as the sun was obviously in agreement! Fingers crossed for many more sunny days!
This is so cute. It reminds me of the way my mother used to fix food in order to get me to eat it when I was about three. I liked those clever ways of disguising it.
