Summertime Sights / Day 21: Black & White in a World of Colour.
Day 21 in a set of summertime pictures for July.
Well hopefully the heatwave has reached it's peak now, the cat came in late last night wet through - so we've had some rain finally, with more to come this week in the form of thunderstorms. 10 more pictures left however in celebration of a summer that was long overdue!
This insect looked so bold against the abundance of purple flowers outside in the hot sun a couple of days ago, to be honest i didn't notice him straight away as there is a fair amount of these plants in the front garden!
A really pretty little fly/bee (?) against the beautiful pink blooms! Striking! Excellent focus and bokeh in the foreground. Beautiful!!! So glad you are having a cool down. The rain probably feels refreshing. Enjoying your summer series!! FAV
