Today at the park, all the ducks seemed lazy and not wanting to eat much as usual. Finally they started taking baths, spreading their wings and getting feisty with each other. I took so many photos of them in the water as there was so much beauty to see. I got the shot I had wanted to for a long time. I missed many focusing on one duck but this one showed off for me and my camera.
@maggiemae Thank you so much for your comments, Maggiemae. I was thrilled to get this shot. So many of the ducks were fluttering around and spreading their wings. I took a chance that this one did and am slowly learning a bit more about timing in capture like this. It happens so fast that you have to be quick. I am so amazed at how this duck and others look underneath their wings. Can see so much more in a photo as you can get a chance to see the details.
@bjornert Thank you so much for your comments, Jackie. These white ducks are beautiful and huge. I had no idea that they have color under their wings as they are so white.
@claireuk Thank you Claire. No rush, just wanted to make sure it got to you. It is long and may be a bit too wordy. Sorry about that. Have a great day.
@bruni Thank you so much, Bruni. I saw it there after someone mentioned it so went there and took photos of the page. Not often have I made it to the pp.
@myautofocuslife Thank you so much for your comments, Livia. My husband had to walk away and sit as I spend so much time standing or sitting taking photos. The ducks and geese are great subjects but when moving like this, one shot after the next and hope you get that one you want.
@karenann Nice to hear from you, Karen. Thank you so much for commenting and the fav. Hope all is going well and miss seeing you on here but nice to know you are watching. Take care.
@deburahiru Thank you so much for commenting and the fav, Deb. I took so many photos of this duck in particular but so many were spreading their wings and splashing around.
