Old photos with new edits, no favs please (trying to honor those who are submitting new photos). :)
This volcano recently had Bali's airport shutdown because it was puffing a bit! I took some shots of this wondrous sight from the balcony of a touristy eatery perched on top of the mountains. I am finding it a bit amusing that my previous edits were really too heavy handed initially. I also see that I did not know about "enabling the lens profile" while doing my first round of edits--not that it did something miraculous, but I see that I was not aware of them. So I zeroed out many of the previous edits (I know I posted another shot I took here in 2015), and started with a fresh skill set. It was such a spectacular day with the blue sky, the cool air (with the higher altitude--it was very balmy in the lower climes). I was able to set my tripod right next to my table, so I ate and photographed while returning every once in awhile to the buffet they were serving!
Lovely. Wonder what you would think re cropping up from bottom such that the exposed earth area on right would come out of corner and the layers would fall more on 1/3 line
oops didn't realise it was so recent! And OMG I simply cannot believe the link above is to the same pic! Methinks the lady has had to much to drink! ouch
