My daughter, a junior in HS this year, about to head off to her first day of school alone for the first time. her sister will move into college in one week (yikes!), and she got to drive the car to school since she has XC team after school. So much moving so fast, I can barely keep up. Her face describes my current state of mind! ha.
I haven't been on the site in quite some time. I wonder what everyone is up to and I just haven't had the time. My back (after nearly a year of pain) is still painful. I've seen pain specialists, spine specialists, neurologists, Physical Therapists, and I've had multiple MRIs, an EMG, and now...I'm booked to visit Drs in Jacksonville, FL for a Mayo Clinic eval. Let's hope something turns for me.
The good news is that I am able to move around and I even traveled to Europe this summer (Paris and Prague -- with phone camera only--still haven't loaded them on my computer to edit--sigh). I'm also swimming every other day because it is the one form of exercise that does not hurt to do and helps with the other days I'm not exercising.
But it takes a toll on the soul when pain exists every single day. I'll never, ever discount what it means for anyone--even though I hope I haven't done that to anyone ever. Living with pain as if it's as natural as brushing the teeth is a difficult thing.
Blah, Blah Blah. Hot dog. Please know I do miss everyone! I have gotten new photography gigs with portraits, and recently I was hired to photograph an award winning garden. What a fun job I have!.
Hot Dog!!! What a time of change for you!! Hope she gets on well and you cope with her going. Sorry to hear your back is still bad. Hoping positive progression soon for you. I've swam lots recently, really helps me. Got more surgery planned for September followed by another few months recovery.
Such a great fun shot! This is the kind of fave my family pull every time I pick up the camera! Lol! Lots going on for you and it sounds very exciting. So sad to read your back is still paining you - I do hope you can get some respite soon! Good to see you back Daryl we have missed you!
Hot dog! Life changes are challenging for sure. I'm sorry you still have such pain. Hoping the Mayo Clinic will help find a solution. On the outside chance something here can help, check out the website www.losethebackpain.com.
Hot Dog!
I am so sorry to hear you are still in pain with no answers to why - I hope they find something in Florida that will help ease it.
Love the expression - I feel like that myself at times - things move along so quickly.
Lovely to see you pop in :)
