I volunteer as a photographer for one non-profit each year. In 2020, I helped an organization called We Love Buford Highway to highlight the multinational corridor of businesses on Buford Hwy near Atlanta as they navigated the pandemic shutdown. This year, I chose the Children's Development Academy, which had a "Party on Our Playground" fundraiser headed up by my best friend. I didn't tell her I was volunteering for the gig, so she was so excited to have a pro at the event without charge. It was nice to see so many happy faces and meet all the sponsors, attendees, and staff.
