Just a wee part of my massive knife collection in my kitchen. I edited all of the shenanigans out of it to participate in the ETSOOI theme! Because I'm in the kitchen allllllll the time!
Oh, and good news, I got my prints to frame. Now the hard part--putting it all together. Note to self, make prints more the actual size of mats--do I use double sided tape to make sure it will not fall in frame? I swear, I'm an idiot when it comes to these things.
oh I do love this - wish I had a massive knife collection. More to the point - pun intended - I wish the ones I did have were sharper!
As for tape - it depends on how tight the glass fit is but I often use a bit of tape to keep it in place while I put in the frames - you can get very thin double sided nowadays
@annied Annie, thanks so much. I SHOULD have had the print large with the actual size printed on that so it would just fit in frame and not slide. I'm looking on the web for tutorials now...I don't want to damage the print (and they were expensive to produce), but I really don't want slippage!
I love how this turned out! It's really impressive that the knives have become this great abstract.
Re attaching photos to matboard. There is a glue stick that I've bought online called artist's glue or something like that. It's on Amazon, I'm pretty sure. It allows you to put maybe three dabs across the top, and then if you have to reposition, you can.
