Last season, I was the coach of a team I really loved (and my daughter was on it), but I failed to register us in time and was on the waitlist. I was heartbroken to find out we would not make the team for this season (I knew I couldn't be the single coach, but I was hoping to co-coach).
Lots of "feeling stupid" for not getting my child registered in time, but we found a new club at the "select" level that really needed players (so far, they've played with no subs!).
Today was the perfect day to try out my new camera with moving objects. To make my way in slowly, I decided to use all auto except for the high frame rate and I decided not to do RAW because well, those things eat up space! I loved this one of my daughter on a breakaway. I used a "bleach pass" preset in LR5 for this one, and hey, I found out what that little brush thing can do! Seriously, I still have no clue about half the things I can do, but I used it on my daughter's skin which can be pale and cast a blue hue. I warmed up the skin some!
Will make my way into the manual modes with speed (have already done that with birds--they are much more complicated). But so far, pleased!
@darylo I am well and hope you are too
I have been erratic with posting and comments a combination of work and mood- work is easing so hopefully things are on the improve lol
The processing here is really nice. I might have wanted a bit more space above her head, but motion shots are hard to get! I'm so impressed how you are always pushing yourself to learn more.
