I made it to the opening reception for the photography exhibit I am in. However, my back was not feeling so great, so I decided to head on home since most of my friends had made it to the show and had left. I got a text message with a photograph of my image with a big blue ribbon on it. Another friend of mine had shown up after I left and was there when my name was called . I had taken first place in architecture and travel category. The show this year is rather stunning. Another photo of mine received an honorable mention and the people and animals category. Wish I had been there to receive the awards, but it will be fun to go back in the daytime I look at all of the photos again. Night night.
