Well, new lens. Tamron 24-70 2.8. Wanted to see what my two new rings looked like on an old silver box I have from my grandmother--I think it used to hold cigarettes? Or cards? I use it for jewelry.
Thinking in the vein of wedding or event photography although I'm loathe to do a wedding shoot. But I would love to do announcement work or something. Who knows.
The top ring is a ring I bought myself for Christmas. And the bottom ring is a recent gift from my mother of a family heirloom ring. I think they make a good pair.
Beautifully presented, Daryl -- it all works together beautifully! And I think you'd make a terrific announcement photographer. One of my very favorite photos of myself (and i hate being photographed) is the one you took of me in the sun!
