Organist playing the Mighty Mo at the Fabulous Fox Theatre--Atlanta
One of the oldest traditions at this wonderful venue is the organist who plays for the audience before an event begins. After playing, the organ descends and the play begins. I took this with my phone, so it's not the best, but it gives you a sense of the beauty of the organ!
Awesome organ! We used to have a tiny theater in town with a pipe organ that rolled out from behind the movie screen. They only played it on Saturday nights. Sadly, the theater closed about 8 years ago and have no idea what happened to the organ.
