For the first day, I can use my right pointer finger with relative ease. Thank goodness because it has been a bit of a pain in every area of communications.
Back to tales of Bali.
Along the roads, near the temples, on pathways, there are decorations from the simple to the elaborate. Many of them are constructed with long bamboo poles that bend and arch with a beautiful ornament hanging from it, like fishing poles with elaborate hand-made flies dangling. It's lovely when driving down a narrow road with ornamental blessings dangling everywhere.
This ornament I captured was one of the simple, almost windsock, variety, but I liked it for the way it swung in the wind. We were at Ulun Danu Lake Temple and the sky was moody--a mist was in the distance, and I could feel a few drops of ran, but just a few.
I wish I had taken more photos of the other hanging decorations, but it looks like this is the main one. It's edited for more dramatic effect.
Love your editing! Great outcome in this composition -- tone, form all works well. I missed reading what happened to your finger...hope it continues to mend quickly.
@taffy deep cut and stitches 2.5 weeks ago. Stitches are out now, but it is still quite sore when any pressure is on it. I've been using voice to text technology some but writing/typing has been really hard.
Good to know your finger is getting back to noemal!!
