@danette I have never really caught any bivalves. I have shrimped and crabbed, however!

I love the small cockles they taste fabulous tossed in chilli wine garlic and parsley
i have dug for the smooth pippies along the beach edge and caught crabs

@annied now I'm hungry. These were huge. I used to cast nets for shrimp and tended crab traps in summers. Fresh seafood every day Good memories :)
