I HAVE MASTERED THE COLLAGE DAGNABIT!

Third try is the charm I say. Many thanks to @twistergirl for letting me know that I can actually dictate how many cells for a collage -- take that PicMonkey! So here is the AI Servo v. One Shot Focus difference. See AI Servo above--subject moves, but stays in focus. One Shot Focus--subject moves but goes out of focus when it moves from the one focal point. I used continuous shutter and AV setting (thanks @jo13 for that tip with AV--still learning what it does, but getting closer).

This has been a very good challenge to work with! Got a moving target? Set your focus to AI Servo! :)

Yea!!! So happy for you! And yes I do see the difference. I will try it out on my next attempt with my animals. I love the sock monkey too. :-)

@spair YAY! Thanks so much Susan! It's the little things in life (like mastering a collage and using a sock monkey for a shot) that really make me smile. My 365 friends too! :)

Excellent work, cool collage and tagged for the challenge. : ) I was going to try and use more pictures in mine but the subjects didn't show up well enough. Now I better go post.

@twistergirl Wow, thanks for the fav!

@foxsparrow Yes, I've tagged all the different ones at one point, but this is the one I wanted to use in the end (once I figured out how to make 6 collage cells-sheeeesh--it's always something!). Can't wait to see yours!

@vskolnik Thanks very much Vee--let's hope that my next set of bird shots are better focus! Still working on how to get my shutter speed faster too. One thing at a time. :)

Great shot! Sock monkeys are awesome! Great collage, too, and I would love to figure out how to make one of those. I use Paint.net and I tried it using the layers, but if the original pictures are two different sizes...well, I just need to know if it's actually more complicated or less complicated than I am imagining?

A picture's worth a million words, and I am now going to go figure out how to do it myself. Who knows, maybe I already am? Fav Fav Fav on this!

@dstod I use Picasa for my collages. It's really intuitive and flexible and you can do it right on your computer. In fact, I made one just this morning! http://365project.org/squamloon/365

@squamloon Thanks for the info!

@dstod @squamloon Thanks for the info! I don't even know how to use layers at all. The Picmonkey basic collage is great. I'll try out Picasa this summer--grading like a fiend right now. :)

I love this collage since it really shows the difference. Clever idea using a swing to have motion - now why didn't I ever think of that???
I use ipiccy a lot - it is fee and let's you do a lot of things that you have to have a paid account on Picmonkey for.
