It only took a matter of 2 seconds after my husband started read a text from his boss, saying "Mike, I know this is last minute, but we are going out of town..." and I was like "YES. YES. YES. WE'LL TAKE LEILA!" Leila stays with us when Felix goes out of town with his family and she is the sweetest, most adorable dog ever. She's a cockapoo and loves hanging out and snuggling. I don't want to give her back tomorrow, but I will. Isn't she so cuuuuuuuuuute?
@homeschoolmom we lost our dog Mother's Day over a year ago. In Covid we have fostered 3 dogs already. Leila is the type of dog I want, but my husband wants bigger. So we are at an impasse! Leila is wamted any day every day :)
i knew she was a cockapoo as soon as i saw her. they have great hairdo's.... I hope Mike gets a copy of this photo of leila .
BTW are you allowed to leave town, we are in lockdown here in the UK, we cannot go anywhere?
@phil_howcroft Phil, the USA is just a place I cannot explain to anyone now. I have not gone on any trips, any where unless it was to drop off a kid to college and not go in their dorms. I have seen my mother, but only outside. People here travel, go to restaurants, do a lot of things I would never do. I DO go to the grocery store or to a store where I can have curbside delivery of an item I ordered online, but we have high numbers for a reason--people don't want to stay in place (or cannot, and there are people who do HAVE to work), but in my situation, I neither need additional work outside my home (I work virtually at the moment) nor do I put others at risk if I have to go out. Last night, I went to that grocery to pick up some necessary items, and there was a man in the middle of the store, unmasked, yelling at this woman at the top of his lungs threatening her. Everyone was just powerless to do much. My nation is a disgrace. That's all I can say. But not all of us are disgraceful.
But yes, folks are allowed to do just about anything, depending on where you live. :(
@darylo daryl it is good you are staying safe . Some people in the UK flaunt the laws but in general people seem sensible. The government have made some serious errors along the way that have cost lives , but we are in uncharted water so it is a difficult job . Stay safe 📷
