@olivetreeann so sorry Ann. My Original plan for this series is to explain everything the native terms I used- but I couldn't catch up with all the researching. but I will try to do my best with my next post. Talikdan--(tuh--leek-dan) is to turn your back on someone both literally and figuratively speaking. tnx so much for the comments and the interest of my heritage.Ü sad to say, I couldn't speak any of the native dialects we have. I only speak Cebuano(My native tongue which is partly influenced with Spanish) and Tagalog (our national language) and English (basically our medium of instruction here in the Philippines). tnx Ann!
