This little Wallaby Joey was not scared of us at all. He couldn't have been much more than 30cm (1ft) tall. Just out for his afternoon feed, chillin' in the park.
@greyfeather I agree, just a bit too young you would think. Will we were there his mum (maybe) came to within about 15m but then hopped away again. Maybe the kid is a rebel & insists on wandering the parks by himself.
@tulipgirl Thanks Alicia, Yes, this is in the Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary just up the road. At dawn & dusk dozens of Wallaby's & Roo's come out of the bush to feed in the open park area after most people have left.
