Long Exposure (Daytime) IV by davidchrtrans

Long Exposure (Daytime) IV

15-second exposure into the sunset at 6:09 pm.

I had planned to do something more than just ocean shots with this technique, but I'm having trouble getting out before the sun goes down. I'll hopefully be able to end the series with a "bang" at the weekend.
I see a bang right here. Fav.

Thanks, Nadine. Don't get me wrong: I'm quite happy with this shot. It's just that there are so many interesting things you can do with this technique -with time- that I'm disappointed with the relative lack of variety so far. @deens

True, Nic... the movement of the water is especially suited to long exposure. :-) @rainbowsnic42

Thanks, mate... I'm using neutral density filters for these shots. They're the cheap variety, which is why they have a pink hue to them (corrected somewhat with white balance, but not entirely), but they're more than sufficient for becoming familiar with their use. @sangwann
