i like the lighting here! framing works very well for me. where did you put the flash(es)? remote flash? how do you trigger them?
i plan to do some shots in a skater dome and think about how to use flash. so far i did all my action shots without flash. any suggestions what works best? thanks David!
@mbrunner thanks! One flash just out of frame on the left at 1/2 power. Other one tucked behind the mini ramp also at 1/2 power but closer to skater for a key light. I use hahnel combi tf triggers which are okay but have a mind of their own lot of the time and set off the flashes randomly! I'm now looking into some pocket wizards miniTT1/flexTT5 combo. Far more reliable. You could try some panning with flash mounted on camera, 80th sec works well! Hope that helped buddy

btw. I'm using miniTT1+AC3/flexTT5 combo. works perfectly well and reliably (unless i forget to change battery in miniTT1 lol) With AC3 you can dial flash power directly - really handy!
