Took the kids to the State Fair today... met up with my parents, my brother & his wife, my sister & her husband and daughter...
We had a great day eating yummy food, watching the kids enjoy the fair games & rides... and it was even nice weather! High of 80 degress - that NEVER happens for the fair weekend - usually its 98+... we were spoiled and really had a great day :)
And we ended it by watching a presentation of "the human cannon" - amazing stuff! This guy goes from 0-50mph in less than 1 second, launches himself at a 47 degree angle to a height of over 50feet and a distance of over 300feet, only to land in a relatively small safety net. Incredible!

thanks! I have about 11 photos that show the whole progression of the shot - this one was just the best b/c you could see the cannon and everything. The one where he was flying through the air at the top of the arc was pretty cool too :)
