In between running errands today, I stopped at a local park with two of my kids... my 2 year old is always up for the playground. What 2 year old isn't? Even though it was nap time I let her spend an hour playing with big sister on the equipment and this shot was her expression as she watched her big sister fly down the slide. I was having fun sitting on the sidelines with my 70-200 which hasn't really made it out of my camera bag since I bought it last week. It's wonderful being able to sit so far from the action and be able to get these priceless expressions. I don't think the lens will be sitting in my bag very often :)
Oh Dayna .... this is one of my most favorite shots ever! How adorable! Such joy! What a capture? I recently got a new camera and have been using the 55-200 lens and I agree that it is so wonderful to be able to zoom in and get those far-away shots. I love it.
Thanks again, yeah the expression puts a smile on my face when i look at it because normally she dislikes my camera but thans to the long zoom she had no idea i was snapping away :)
Aww Dayna this picture is wonderful and "S" looks so unbelievably adorable and precious!!! I love it!!!! I so badly want a new lens so I too can zoom in further from a far away distance!!! It would have so come in handy yesterday @ the track!!!
Priceless, so true. And beautiful too. My grandson goes through periods of not wanting his picture taken, so with my other camera, I set it on my knee and tilt the viewing screen so I can see it and click away.
thanks so much - she almost looks devlish :) my older daughter calls her "my evil minion" (not sure where she got that from!!) and i was looking at this picture again and thought of that.
Otherwise she just saw a big or tiny spider, and is hysterical.
