As a mother of three children, what I'd give to get one of my own to pose quietly for me...... this is so awesome, I love the spun honey halo framing this little one and the lighting is spot on!
wow thank you all so much - I am so humbled by you comments. @Shaunery, my kids don't pose either, not a chance. I was explaining to a friend a few days ago that typically the images I choose to edit are the ones "in between" posing, where I tell my client or my child that we're done or I just start talking to them, etc, meanwhile I fire away. It really has to be unposed because it's not human nature to feel comfortable enough to pose like this (well - not true - models do!). This shot was taken as my daughter complained about the cold and was just ready to go inside. She didn't know I was still shooting and I always get my best stuff this way. try it with your own kids, you'll be surprised at what you get!
