Lake McDonald GNP

Went up to the Glacier with Aaron last night to do a little night photography. We didn't stay too long because it was quite cold, with wind chill at least -10. The moon was way to bright for the shot I was planning on so had settled with this moon lit landscape.

When I packed my my stuff to leave my tripod was frozen to the ground.... Good times!
Sounds cold ! A beautiful shot though.

Cool shot. I like the low point of view! Interesting story too.

The moonlight is amazingly bright... this feels like its almost bright enough for daylight. I can't imagine a frozen-to-the-ground tripod. Yikes!

VML these strong colours and how they add drama. Frozen tripod...not something many people can claim.

If any proof were necessary of the benefits of a tripod, look no further. Great shot.
