Yesterday was a quiet gray morning, and we walked around the Pond after breakfast. On the way home I saw this flower in a garden on Pond Street.
I am so glad August is finally over. It's official now that it was the hottest August on record in Boston. I had a difficult time with that. The way things are going, the only summer weather cool enough for me will be in northern Canada.
The next few days of September are supposed to be cooler, then hot weather again next week. I am looking for a definitive turn to fall weather, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait a while.
Now that's the colour mine are supposed to be !! I took cuttings from my daughter's plants which were blue, but mine now flower pink.. I think it's all to do with the soil.
