Wall Art / Boston Public Library

I was at the library today, and a new connector corridor had opened between the recently renovated Philip Johnson Building (1972) and the McKim Building (1895). From a distance this wall art looked like a mosaic made up of large tiles. When I got closer, I realized it was an arrangement of old books! I suppose these would have been discarded books.
Fabulous capture. Fav
