Today was so fresh, after the rain yesterday, with brilliant sun and a beautiful blue sky. Everywhere I went, the trees were illuminated by the sun. They seem to be at their peak of brilliance in the city this week.
On the way home, I stopped at Whole Foods to shop, had the groceries delivered, and walked the long way, via the Pond. The sun was about to set behind the little hill on the other side and was sending its last long rays across the water to light up the trees on this shore. I was entranced by the golden glow over the whole scene.
