The season is really turning, and we're moving into late fall now. As we walked around the Pond, we saw mostly the oaks with their more subtle colors and the golden beech. Here is one brighter patch on the eastern shore. Every year I see that yellow and that red tree next to each other.
Yesterday at the Common there was still much more color. The middle of the city is warmer and more protected, I guess, and the foliage season seems to be about a week behind us, although we're just three miles from there.
