Today I took a walking photo workshop in the Seaport district down on the waterfront. I've taken Photowalks before with Saba Alhadi, a former travel agent who for the last fifteen years has run her own business leading Photowalks around Boston. I always have a good time and learn something new on these walks, and there is generally a pleasant mix of visitors and local people.
For anyone visiting Boston, I highly recommend Saba's Photowalks/workshops. She's a lovely, patient person who is able to work with everybody of whatever level of photography experience and type of camera. Most of her walks include historical commentary as well as photography, perfect for visitors. Some, like the one I went on today, concentrate on photography.
Other than the weather being too hot for me, I had a wonderful time walking around the city. I was the only one taking Saba's workshop today, so I was privileged to get a private lesson.
I took over a hundred photos, so it's hard to choose, but I'm posting this one of the Boston Tea Party ship (a replica of course) against some of the buildings of the financial district. I love the building on the right, the Intercontinental Hotel.
I've been extremely busy lately--how did this happen in retirement?. I'm struggling to keep up with 365 and will fill in missing days as soon as I can and also get back to commenting on others' photos.
